Taylor Momsen Was Almost Cast As Hannah Montana
Casting director Lisa London revealed that Taylor Momsen and Daniella Monet were two of the final actresses that auditioned for Hannah Montana. London made the video after a TikTok claiming that Spanish-Mexican singer Belinda almost got the role went viral. London clarified that Belinda “was never in the top three for the role of Hannah”. She then showed a piece of paper dated May 6, 2005, with Momsen, Monet and Cyrus’ names on it. She claimed that over 1,200 girls auditioned for the role and the paper revealed that Cyrus’ character was originally going to be called Chloe. Momsen went on to play the role of Jenny Humphrey in Gossip Girl, while Monet played the role of Trina Vega in Nickelodeon’s Victorious.
