Leclerc Explains Confident Austrian GP Radio Message
Charles Leclerc has explained why he was so confident about beating Max Verstappen at the Austrian Grand Prix. After finishing second behind Verstappen in the sprint ahead of the race, Leclerc issued a confident message over the radio. We are quick. We can take them, Charles Leclerc. The Monégasque driver has now explained the reason behind his confidence, saying he knew his car had the pace. "Speaking about the sprint, the pace was there and although at the end it was difficult to know how much Max was pushing, I had a feeling we had the upper hand at the end," Charles Leclerc. Ferrari’s pace is no surprise as they have won four of the opening eleven races this year despite struggling with reliability.
