Jurgen Klopp To Receive Freedom Of Liverpool Award
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp will reportedly be given the freedom of Liverpool award. Liverpool City council have been recommended to award honorary Freedom of the City status to Jurgen Klopp. Klopp will join club legends such as Steven Gerrard and Kenny Dalglish in receiving the city’s highest civil honor. Klopp joined the club from Borussia Dortmund in 2015 after the club sacked Brendan Rodgers. Since then, Klopp has overseen a change in the club's fortunes, winning both the Premier League and Champions League. The club has also won the FA Cup, League Cup, Club World Cup, and UEFA Super Cup during his time there. Klopp signed a new contract with Liverpool earlier this year that will see him stay until at least 2026.
