Nicki Minaj's Husband Sentenced To House Arrest For 1 Year
Nicki Minaj’s husband Kenneth Petty has been sentenced to 3 years probation and a year under house arrest for not registering as a sex offender. Petty was arrested in March 2020 for failing to register as a sex offender when he moved to California with Minaj in November 2019. In 2021 he pleaded guilty to failing to register as a sex offender and was ordered to pay a $55,000 fine. In 1995 Petty was convicted of sexually assaulting Jennifer Hough, who was 16 years old at the time. He was required by law to register as a sex offender in New York. In August 2021 Hough filed a lawsuit against Petty and Minaj for alleged harassment and intimidation but she later dropped Minaj from the suit.
